H.E. Hoda Ibrahim Al Khamis Kanoo is the Founder of Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF), which was established in 1996. Previously, she had held a senior position at the Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation and was responsible for international relations. In 2004, Mrs Kanoo launched the Abu Dhabi Festival, an annual celebration of cultural expression, which is today under the patronage of H.H. General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Mrs Kanoo is a board member of Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH), among other appointments. She is a leading advocate of arts education and regular spearheads fundraising and awareness initiatives for causes close to her heart.
