ADMAF Annual Creativity Award
Established in 2004 to support young national talent from Abu Dhabi’s universities and recent graduates in visual and performing arts, literature and film. The award, valued at AED25,000, is given to students who have demonstrated outstanding creativity in a project.

In 2010 ADMAF awarded two groups of young Emirati students from the Higher Colleges of Technology, Abu Dhabi Women’s College, with the annual ADMAF Creativity Award, in recognition of the motivation, artistic brilliance and creativity they demonstrated in their fields of art. The first group to receive the award is formed of 17 students from the college’s Applied Media Department for their participation in  Desert Rose 2010: The Start- an exhibition of a wide range of works from graphic design, multimedia, to photography, and video- that ran at the Ghaf Gallery in Abu Dhabi. The recipients of the second award are a group of 9 HCT interior design students, who contributed to the recently produced Children’s Opera premiere in Abu Dhabi by designing the masks, costumes and the full stage set up of the production.

Abu Dhabi Festival Award
Presented every year since 2004 to national university students who have made a significant contribution to the Abu Dhabi Festival in the fields of film, writing or the visual arts. In association with Chopard.

International Cartoon & Comic Strip Festival
Established in 2007, the festival raises awareness around this specific form of expressive communication. The competition encourages creativity and is open to Abu Dhabi’s young residents and citizens. Awards are given for ‘Best Scenario’ and ‘Best Drawing’.
