This unique exhibition epitomises the strength and determination of every survivor. The process of creation and this resulting exhibition signify important milestones on their road to rehabilitation. By enabling them through art to express their fears, frustrations, hopes and dreams, we play a modest role in bringing back their confidence, self-esteem and, above all, dignity.”

Over the last six months, 44 women from three Ewa’a shelters have been working with UAE-based artist Jennifer Simon in a series of workshops to create over 70 works of art that tell their individual stories.
